Must leave Outlook for gmail and need to import years of addresses all exported as Outlook 2016 .pst file. When will "bugg" be fixed to get them into Thunderbird. CSV does not accept the correct field identifiers and there is no email field, where some contacts have 2!

Thunderbird does not and never has done anything with PST files. So I doubt any of the current bugs wil do you any good at all.

Thunderbird imports from the outlook application. Not it's data files.

I suggest you export your contacts in a standards friendly format from outlook (If it has one) so they can be imported. If all else fails, there is always CSV.
