I can no longer use Google Translate.
I used to be able to dismiss the message and click a button to allow the redirect. But there is no longer a button to allow the redirect. It's possible that one of the scripts I'm using to block animation has removed the button.
I am unable to use Firefox without accessibility fixes, so I can't use "Safe Mode" and I can't use "Refresh Firefox."
I see that other users have encountered the same bug, but the discussions have been closed due for being too old.

What link are you using? I use; http://translate.google.com/
So do I.
Then I enter the address of the site I want to translate. Then I get the error message.
You may have to install or enable the Shockwave Flash plugin.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Appearance
- Do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
Why would I need Flash?
Why do you keep asking me to use Firefox in frakking "Safe Mode"?
As I noted i my original question, "I am unable to use Firefox without accessibility fixes, so I can't use "Safe Mode" and I can't use "Refresh Firefox.""
Can you attach a screenshot?
- https://support.mozilla.org/kb/how-do-i-create-screenshot-my-problem
- use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot
- make sure you do not exceed the maximum size of 1 MB
Note that there is no longer a button to go to the redirect.
Are you blocking redirects?
- "3-bar" menu button -> Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General
Accessibility : [ ] "Warn me when web sites try to redirect or reload the page"
The setting in "Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
Are you using the the secure connection version?
I use this secure URL in a keyword bookmark (gtu):
Of course I'm blocking redirects.
"Warn me when websites try to redirect or reload the page"
When pages auto-reload, they can trigger my migraines. Although some pages can and do auto-reload, at high frequency, despite that setting. If pages auto-reload fast enough, they could even trigger seizures. Many accessibility features *are* safety features.
I used to be able to click the button to follow the redirect. Now there is no button.
I tested it and it seems to have changed from Firefox 46 and that Firefox 47 is no longer showing the redirect bar. I do get the redirect notification bar if I click the "Translating..." message and the translated page.
