Several days back I was attacked by Malware ads- opening chain windows, claiming zeus virus, promoting fixes. Recognizing it was a self fulfilling attack. I uninstalled Firefox, cleaned and scanned my computer, then reinstalled fire fox. Noticing -it started on selected site and grew into most sites -getting bombed, I searched ad-ons and downloaded Link Checker from fire fox. It seemed to solve the problem. Now 2 days later- it is reappearing. Any solutions? Help I attached a PNG of the start window in which the bomb is launched....Not the site- it doesn't matter, but when you get this notice- the bomb is to follow.

Uninstall any obvious toolbars or unwanted programs looking in Firefox's addons and in Windows Program uninstall options from its Control Pannel.

Then scan with all the tools mentioned in this

Please post back with how you get on or for further advice.

I am not sure if my un-doing add-ons changed anything. I only removed 2 non-related add-ons. Just as the virus appeared (web site by website) It dissipated. I feel, while people were the spreading contribution, the homepages and sites may have done the cleaning. I did add a link screen-er, but it worked on some pages and not others but days later also stopped acting up.....Maybe it was because I turned on telemetry for Mozilla to monitor.
