i cannot send or receive emails. I keep getting the error message that "Connection to server mark@dfarchitects.co.uk timed out"

We use Thunderbird for our office emails. Everything was working normally last evening but this morning nothing will load. A long time passes until finally a notice pops up in the bottom right corner to say "connection to server mark@dfarchitects.co.uk timed out". I cannot send or receive emails.

Please help.
