Hi, I am using version 45.5.1 of Thunderbird on Win 10 with 3 email accounts. My email is configured to download all accounts at start up but does not. If I click "get all new messages" it downloads nothing. If I click each account to download it behaves as expected and downloads all emails in each account as requested. Can still use it but a bit frustrating. Have implemented Local Folders so all emails are in a common inbox.

Any suggestions please?

Thunderbird menu: Tools: Account Settings

For each of those POP accounts, select "Server Settings" on the left side, then click the "Advanced" button on the right side. See my first snip below.

In the "Advanced Account Settings" window, check-mark "Include this server when getting new mail". See my second snip below.

Well, once again, Bruce, seems to be the solution - thanks.

Not sure why my wife's machine is slightly different from mine - both same version on same platform but different hardware.

Thanks again, regards, Ian
