This happens at random times. A previous message had a response that some add-on updates can cause this message. I can't believe that the message doesn't include the add-on that causes the message! This is a BUG isn't it? How can I fix or remove the add-on that causes the problem if I don't know which one it is?

You run the Firefox 51.0beta release. The beta update channel receives an update twice a week. If you do not want to receive an update that often then consider to switch to the release update channel.

Note that the Nightly (53.0a1) and Developer Edition (Aurora; 52.0a2) update channel receive daily updates.

Hi cor-el:

Thanks that's nice to know. Now if only the message said somewhere that this was the "some period" Beta Update according to whether it's daily or twice a week then you wouldn't get dumb questions like this! Well maybe the questions are more in the uninformed category...

Thanks, John Szetela
