Picasa and Thunderbird were working great together until I downloaded a newer version of Thunderbird. I couldn't get any photos to attach in an e-mail in Thunderbird. I asked this question before and MattAuSupport (Site Moderator) responded and he said to "Just reinstall Thunderbird from getthunderbird.com" so I did and it worked great again. That was back on April 9th. I thought maybe that glitch had been fixed and I kept getting notifications to download a new version of Thunderbird, which I did and now, Picasa can't attach photos in an e-mail in Thunderbird, again. I guess I should have stated with the older version and not upgraded. I've tried to go to getthunderbird.com and try to download an earlier version, but now even that is not working. It is not a problem with Picasa, but with Thunderbird... Any suggestions?

This wont be fixed by reinstalling. I think it is a mapi issue which is being worked on.

When will the have the Mapi problem solved? I am a photographer and use Picasa to e-mail my photos. I would be happy to go back to using a previous version of Thunderbird, but the one I used is no longer available. MattAuSupport (Site Moderator) responded and he said to "Just reinstall Thunderbird from getthunderbird.com" but when I tried to download it again, it wasn't available. I updated Thunderbird, thinking that maybe after a month, (now almost 3 months) they had found a solution.

Any suggestions? Thanks!
