I'm seeing Google "Tap to Speak" mike on FF address bar.

I have withdrawn all permissions possible for Google on my Android and positively have given no authorization for Google "Tap to Speak", yet recently it's mike appeared on my FF address bar.

I do not use it and its very presence is disturbing. It makes me afraid that it is listening in even without permissions.

How can I eliminate its appearance on my FF address bar?

Could you check this setting:

menu button > Settings > Accessibility

You can switch off Voice input ("Allow voice dictation into the URL bar")

Does that work for you?

I don't have that setting in Accessibility nor in Languages & Keyboard.

I'm using LG Keyboard and have withdrawn all permissions I can find for Google Keyboard.

But no way to turn off "Google Text to Speech" engine itself that I can find, even if it's not in use.

The microphone in the address bar is not related to the keyboard. I don't know why you don't have the Voice Input setting in Firefox 61. Do you have the other two, "Use system font size" and "Always enable zoom"?

My mistake.

I misunderstood and thought you were suggesting Android instructions.

I did find that setting in Firefox and hopefully that will do the trick.

Will post back here during the next few days if I see it again.

Thank you very much for your help.
