How do I stop push notifications from a website?

The best way to stop these is to swipe across from the Firefox for Android home screen to the History pane, find the site in question, and long press on it to select it and remove it from your browsing history.
When you next visit the site, you will be asked if you wish to receive notifications at which point you can decline them.
