Hi,

I have just obtained a new laptop running W10-64bit. I downloaded FF77.0.1 and installed it. I had been running FF77.0.1 on a laptop running W7.

When I opened FF, I was startled at the black tabs and black bar behind the tabs also there is no border around the window. In W7 was used to having a blue boarder around the bottom and behind the tabs, and the tabs and toolbar were a pleasant grey.

I have searched the net looking for answers, however, most are from the time when FF used the css files.

I found themes (didn't use in W7) and came close but still no borders or different color behind the tabs.

Does anyone have a way to get me back to the same look as I had in W7? It looks like there are a lot of themes out there but none with borders.

I appreciate your help as I get my new system running.

Thank you in advance

Type about:addons<enter> in the address bar to open the Add-ons
Manager. Hot key; <Control> (Mac=<Command>) <Shift> A)

On the left side of the page, select Appearance or Themes.
Then select Default. Now restart Firefox.

Hi Fred,

Much better but still no bottom or side borders. Any way to get them back?

Thanks so much!

If there is still a problem, Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh).

While you are in safe mode;

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration in Firefox. Since this feature was added to Firefox it has gradually improved but there are still a few glitches.
