Firefox sometimes gets stuck on Android

Hi there,

From time to time, Firefox just doesn't load for me.

Sometimes it looks like it's loaded but not responding, sometimes it's not even able to load all UI elements (tab counter stays empty etc).

It doesn't depend on being standalone browser or in-app mode, sometimes when I click a link on an app which wants to open the URL in-app mode with Firefox, it might still get stuck.

Only way to rescue is force-stopping Firefox, then it behaves correctly afterwards.

I know it sounds vague, but this is what I am constantly (few times a day) experiencing. I am a long-time Firefox user on desktop and this makes it unusable on mobile. How can I send you meaningful debugging stuff for this?

Thanks for any help & suggestions.

OS: Android 10 on OnePlus 6 (up-to-date) Firefox: 68.11.0 from Play Store

Hi Sequizz

We do have an update that is due out soon that should make the browsing experiance much better with Firefix for Android, but in the meantime, I recomend that in the Android Settings app, under Application and Firefox, that you clear the cache (not data!). This will improve app performance.
