IMAP stopped working

Hi,

My thunderbird stopped getting new mails. I renamed ".thunderbird" folder to check on clean new profile, but when I try to configure my corporate IMAP (microsoft exchange server) I get error as on screenshot: "Unable to login at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password". The error doesn't even say if it's IMAP or SMTP problem. I don't see any detailed logs, any ideas how to solve it? I tried all different "authentication" options with the same result.

The information I enter should be correct, because I just installed mailspring and it works perfectly with the same information (except mailspring doesn't have any "authentication" field, I only set "security" to "starttls" there).

I have no idea how to proceed. Thank you in advance for any tips.

I use: Linux Mint, Thunderbird 78.4

What I tried so far:

  • setting security.tls.version.min to 1, but it didn't help. TB still can't get new mails, in the status bar I have constant "Checking mail server capabilities"
  • other mail clients: both evolution and mailspring work perfectly fine with the same account/server/settings
