Lately I have noticed that some incoming emails are going to a folder labled important'. They do not show up in my inbox folder and not all emails are being sent to this folder.

What causes one email to go to important and not another email?

This sounds like a Gmail account. If so, I suggest you review this setting on the online Gmail setup.

Thanks, I don't use the Gmail web or app so did not know about how this worked. Looked into it and turned off there markers.
