linksfrom other apps won't open
Links from emails and other apps won't open in browser. They start to load, then goes to me home page instead. What can I do to fix this and open links again

In the Firefox for Android Settings menu, what do you have "Open links in apps" set to?
It is set to always, I don't know what the problem is, but it only started after the last update.

When I click on a link in my email, or from YouTube, it won't open in Firefox. Firefox is my default browser. The link starts to load properly, then goes back and my home page loads instead. I tried closing the apps and restarting them, tried updating apps, restarting phone and still can't get the link to open properly. Anybody have a clue what's wrong? I am web app illiterate and desperately need assistance
