Years of blank emails in my inbox
After the new release, or other reason, my work acct inbox emails were all duplicated and opened blank. New emails, personal folder emails, separate gmail account and some 2005 emails in my work inbox can open. I installed the delete duplicate add-on and compacted the folder. Duplicates are gone, new emails can open ok, but years of emails in my work inbox still open blank. Would appreciate suggestions for recovery, preferably in terms a dinosaur can understand :) Thanks, Andrew

This situation in combination with the use of other email accounts in thunderbird email usage will be notified to both or in this case with more providers in order to send a copy of these multiple (and email servers )to you in any situation. These options are for the respective servers and providers and are unfortunately not subject to settings of these desired options or configuration for them. What you can still do is configure or set this setting in Thunderbird.
-Account settings -)copies and folders )and change it to not save a copy.
The copies that still remains blank before can disappear after restoring the situation.

This situation can be configured with thunderbird to leave your inbox to make a copy to rename your inbox to erase the inbox .msf file.
Please read the following text . Inbox emails stays blank. Or emails become blank after using the email program.
Exit Thunderbird. Make several copies of the file "Inbox" in safe places (outside your profile folder). Rename the file "Inbox" to "InboxOld". Delete the file "Inbox.msf". Start Thunderbird. It will create a new, empty Inbox.
There should be a new folder InboxOld visible in the folder pane. Right-click it and select "Compact This Folder". If this succeeds, try to open it.
If you can open it without problems, you are done and you can delete the copies (after you make very sure).
