How Do I Pin a Firefox Website to my Windows 11 Taskbar?

I want to pin a Firefox website to my taskbar in Windows 11. I can create a shortcut for the website on my desktop but when I try moving it onto my taskbar, it doesn't get added (get the dreaded circle with the line through it) and right-clicking on it does not give me an option to "add to taskbar" like other browsers do.

I thought I had too many pins on my taskbar so I deleted one and then tried to add the shortcut, but get same error.

I tried adding a random app to my taskbar by right clicking on the app and using the "pin to task bar" option and it works perfectly.

So, what is the secret to adding a Firefox website url to my taskbar????

tdhoover, were the links pure URLs? If so, then you might want to try Firefox command line links instead.

That is, links of the form: [path to the Firefox executable] -new-tab [URL] or [path to the Firefox executable] -new-window [URL]

for example: "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" -new-tab https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/CommandLineOptions

(That URL also gives more information on command line usage.)
