downloading quicken .qif file directly to quicken main file

I was able to rename file and send to quicken on my computer with I.E. Firefox downloads file to download file but all files use download I.D. qif I have trouble finding and moving file to quicken

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

== downloading .qif from bank with firefox. unable to send to quicken directly

my banking downloads work fine in IE. but in Firefox 3.6, the download goes to a .qif file, and i have to click on that file to have it loaded to quicken. with IE, the process is seemless with no human intervention. has been working in Firefox for 3 years. now it seems to have stopped. any suggestions?
