My pull downs will not work

When I click on any pull downs or try to use the slider to move up and down, the pull downs just flash on the screen but do not stay and the sliders just slide to the bottom automatically no matter where I try to stop with them.

This happened

Every time Firefox opened

That's a weird one. Does it still occur if you close Firefox, then start it in Firefox Safe Mode? See Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode
