The back/forward arrrows do not highlight. I cannot go back to a previous website. It lost all my history also. I have uploaded the latest version, still no usable back arrow.
I tried restarting my Mac after re-installing Firefox. Could this be a virus that is screwing up Firefox? I can still use Safari.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
