My entire bookmark bar is GONE and I cant even add new ones, this happened after I updated Firefox. Can I unupdate? Or is there a way to get the bookmarking function back?

I just updated to 3.6 and I cant go back a page either. It's like it cant remember ANYTHING! I really need help! I have a mac o sx. The space where the bookmarks used to be is still there but it's blank.

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
