You're welcome.

Could you please click the "Solved It" button next to the post which solved the problem for you? This will help others searching for a solution to the same question.

Click View | Toolbars | Customize.

In the panel which opens, click the button called "Restore Default Set" and then click "Done".

Thanks very much for that - and very prompt too : )

Hi Xircal Sorry i have not used this service before so did not spot the "Solved it" button - but i have done it now - so thank you once again for your help.

Tried this but I still do not have a status bar nor do I have an option in the View/Toolbars menu. I do have Add-on Toolbar check and have that bar, but progress/url's/Done appear above it then disappear. I should add I have FF 4.0.1

@ wingrider, presumably you're running Firefox 5.0.x in which case the Status Bar has been removed. You can reinstate it by installing this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/status-4-evar/

I'm running 4.0.1 but had already found that add-on and it worked. Thanks for the update.
