the extension was just updated (would be easier if you supplied the url). All you have to do is type evernote into the location bar and the AwesomebBar search should find it immediately since you installed it.

Evernote Web Clipper :: Add-ons for Firefox -- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/evernote-web-clipper/

Went to above link, and Evernote still does not work for Firefox 5. If there is going to be such a lag, I need to resist the constant reminders to get the latest browser. I depend on Evernote for bookmarking sites, collecting info.

From the Firefox site, I am not finding a download for version 4 which is leaving me in a bind.

Thanks for your reply just the same.

Open the Add-on Manager tab - {Ctrl + Shft + A} - and locate that Extension. Right-click on that extension and select Find Updates. It should be updated.

Firefox 4 isn't supported any longer, 5.0 was a security update, so that's why you can't find Firefox 4.0.1.

@the-edmeister got me on the right track. I did have the working version of evernote, BUT I had to find the shortcut elephant button by choosing to customize the toolbar. It was at the bottom of that scroll down list. A bit tricky... And I really do need the little elephant!

Unfortunately the Evernote site has left up information inferring that they aren't compatible with Firefox 5.

All is good, except for my loss of work time.

Thanks.
