Yesterday I clicked the "show all history" button and had options of "today", "yesterday", last 7 days" and "this month" whereas today I can only see todays and yesterday, why is this?

I discovered yesterday that I could search the history of web sites I have visited by clicking on the firefox button in the top LH corner, then clicking on the history button followed by the show all history button. When I accessed this yesterday I had 4 options of history information. today, yesterday, last 7 days and month. When I have repeated the search today I have only been given 2 options i.e. today and yesterday. I would like to search further back than this.

That happens if the history has been deleted two days ago.
So only history of websites visited after that day now show up as today and yesterday.

Thanks, however I haven't knowingly deleted history.

If you didn't do it then maybe someone else has used the computer.

As days past a new "Last 7 days" and "This month" folder will automatically reappear if you keep history.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then check the settings for the Firefox application.
