how do you close the history panel displayed to the left of the browser window

my history is displayed in a panel to the left of the browser window. How do you close this panel?

There should be a little x beside "History", above the search panel. Or try pressing Ctrl and the H key.

There wasn't an "X" but Ctrl-H worked. Thanks!
