When I want to delete an email or return to my Inbox, the connection will not go thru and it gets stuck on a blank page.

for 2 days when I have read an email and press the delete button, the connection arrow spins and gets stuck on a blank page. When I try to return to the inbox, the same thing happens.

Can you try clearing cache and cookies and try disabling some add-ons?

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
