How do I delete the previous entries that fitrefox brings up whenever I start to login to a site that requires me to enter a log on?

Firefox recalls previous entries and logins that I have typed. How do I delete the old unused entries so they do not come up every time that I start to type a login?

  • Click the (empty) input field on the web page to open the drop down list
  • Highlight an entry in the drop down list
  • Press the Delete key (on Mac: Shift+Delete) to remove it.
  • Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
