I am using Firefox 12 on a Mac. I am not able to open links from Google, e.g. google maps, google groups. Also google maps does not show up on other websites. Safari does this all. I have disabled all add-ons and went into the safe mode of Firefox. No improvement. I can't open google maps or google groups. Apart from this, other webpages don't cause a problem. What is going on?

Does the article Websites look wrong or appear differently than they should help you at all? When you try to click these links, do you get an error message?

No, they don't open at all. No tab opens. I have handled this problem by deleting my profile and importet all bookmarks and add ons again into Firefox. It wokrs now, but very strange. It was not possible to open any google website apart from the google.com side. No google maps, no groups, no support. But thank you for your answer.

The problem is back again. I can search for google maps but maps.google.de does not open when clicking on the link. Also no access to google groups. I am annoyed to have to return to Safari.

Have a look and see if SPDY is enabled. Enter about:config in the address window and spdy in the search window. If "network.http.spdy.enabled" is true, double click on the entry to disable it.

Dear Roger, Thank you for your reply, but the value is set to false. network.http.spdy.enabled;false Kind regards B.
