I can't see firefox. But, In windows task manager, firefox shows as a process but not an application. Icon shows in the tray.

I downloaded and reinstalled firefox to try to eliminate an aggravation- playtopus. Now it doesn't load onto my desktop. I see the icon in the tray. In Task Manager I see firefox listed as a process. But not an application. tks.
