First of all, I would like to apologize for the wall of text, I am providing as much information as I can as the the support field instructs.

I am unable to type in any type of form in the Firefox browser window. This includes password fields, search forms, username fields, the address bar, the search bar next to the address bar, or other input fields.
The only way I am able to insert anything(at the moment I am using Google Chrome to post this, but I prefer Firefox) is to type it else where, highlight what I wish to input, then copy it, and in the field I want to input it, right click then click paste.
I've searched this before, and all the advice that other's have given haven't worked, (i.e resetting Firefox, uninstalling then re-installing Firefox, running in safe mode etc.) The only fix I have currently found is completely restarting my computer.
This seems to happen when once every month or so, and usually playing a video-game(normally happens while I am playing Minecraft). When it happened this time, I attempted to scroll down the window, and while doing so my cursor would highlight paragraphs while scrolling(usually from the top of the page to where my cursor was.
Further, and this leads me to think it MIGHT be a Windows 7 issue(my current OS) any icon I clicked on task bar would ask for permission to run even when it was already opened. Opening the onscreen keyboard was able to stop this, though I was still unable to input any data into any form.
Below(at least upon question submission) I will include my troubleshooting information

As a side note, by the time this post is replied to, I will have reset my computer once again, so any information that anyone gives will have to wait to be tested the next time this problem happens, unless others are having nearly the exact same problem as I am.

Have you tried in a new profile.

If the new profile works, you can transfer data from the old profile such as bookmarks.

Some have reported that pressing F9+Windows one or more times has worked to fix issues with the keyboard not working.

Hello all and thank you for replying. Unfortunately I had reset my computer before either of you replied, therefore I am unable to try your solutions. On the other hand, the past few times I have had this problem, I searched for it and among the solutions I listed, both Waka_Flocka_Flame's and cor-el's suggestions did not help; as I said the only thing that DID work is a complete computer restart. I am beginning to think this problem is Windows related, but I don't know for sure. It has happened around once a month since about the beginning of the year.
