Example: Try printing http://www.uow.edu.au/~thomaspl/pdf/BajPla04.pdf from the built-in PDF reader in Firefox. The spacing between characters in words comes out all wrong, making them very difficult to read. Also, the TeX equations looks like a mess of symbols splattered randomly onto the page.

In comparison, printing the same PDF from Adobe Reader works perfectly.

I tested the above PDF on two separate printers connected to two separate machines, with the same results from each.

Hi. I understand your problem with Firefox, that it does not print in a proper form or spacing between characters comes out all wrong . I print the same pdf file on my printer with Firefox version 32.0.3 and the print was absolutely fine. So i request you to please update your Firefox so in future these errors do not occur.

If you still have the same problem then please let me know

That did not work. This is definitely a bug in Firefox.

I just opened "print preview" and the document looked fine. When I printed it out, it was printed correctly.

However, I came back to my computer, didn't change anything, opened print-preview again, and saw this: http://screencast.com/t/h5DbjKhOPp When I printed it out, it looked exactly like the screenshot.

I'm trying to figure out reliable repro steps, but it appears to be completely random.
