Copy of Mail sent from alias put in local folder rather than IMAP folder
I use Fastmail. I use IMAP and have two personalities set up. I have set Thunderbird to place copies of sent mail in the IMAP folder on the web, rather than in the local sent folder. When I send mail from my original email address the copy gets placed in the IMAP sent folder as requested. When I send mail form my alternative personality email address the copy gets placed in the local sent folder. I would like all sent mail to be put in the IMAP sent folder on the web irrespective of which personality is used to send it. Any ideas? Many thanks, Stephen Carter

re :When I send mail form my alternative personality email address
Is the 'alternative personality email address' set up as a mail account in it's own right or is it an additional Identity to the imap mail account?
If set up as 'identity': Tools > Account Settings for the imap mail account. click on 'Manage Identities' button Select the additional identity email adress and click on 'Edit' Click on 'Copies & Folders' tab Select 'Palce a copy in' Select : 'Other' and choose the 'Sent folder on the imap mail account.
make any other necesary changes. click on OK to save changes to identity.
click on OK to save changes to Account Settings.
