Do you use any external analytics services that might be testing for Flash support, or ad networks that display rich media?

For example, many years ago, I added a command not to test for Flash support in my Google Analytics script block to get rid of a popup I was getting in Internet Explorer: http://www.jeffersonscher.com/ (bottom of the page source).

Usually not, except on (i) Windows XP or (ii) releases of Windows Vista and later that require a separate media feature pack download to handle MP4/H.264 video, and the user hasn't installed it.

I used the SEO that came with the theme (Headway) which I assume uses Google Analytics. There is some payment form code (Gravity Forms) - I don't know if that would cause this although I would think it wouldn't. I tried to keep the site as simple and clean as I could. The site is https://www.ruach.org.

We are on Windows 10 PCs so it sounds like from your answer YouTube is not the issue.

Does the embedded YouTube video play on the home page without having to enable Flash? In that case, I think we can rule out the video(s) as an issue.

FYI, on my Firefox/Windows 7, the YouTube frame loads a script from the DoubleClick ad network, but it isn't triggering a Flash notification for me.

How would I know if the video enables Flash? I used a code block in the theme that lets me simply enter the url of the YouTube and there it is! I'm not really a code or developer, and I'm learning WordPress as I go.

When I click the video, it plays in the home page rather than going to the YouTube channel. I don't know if this makes a difference or not.

This is pretty much the code for all of the videos on the website -there are several more on other pages and they are all from YouTube.

To detect whether a video is using Flash (or another plugin) or the built-in HTML5 video player:

Right-click the player and check the context menu. Plugins usually have a short menu with their name mentioned on the bottom line. Any other menu is not Flash.

I right clicked and the player is the html5 player, so no Flash. I'm still not sure why Mozilla is asking for Flash if there isn't any, but at least I know my site is not using Flash. I also tested it on an iPad, since iPads don't have flash.

What page(s) are users getting the activation message on? Or if you set your Flash to Active to Activate on the Add-ons page, what page(s) do you get it on?

All I know for sure is that my boss, who has flash set to be off in FireFox, gets the activation message on the homepage. The computers I work on either have flash activated or are using Chrome. I am out of the office until next Wednesday, so I'll pick this up then.
