hello the font when i print an email in thunderbird is huge and centred down the middle of the page and i cannot get it to print normal.hp inkjet4650

i have a HP4650 printer. I have suddenly got a problem where i print an email the font size is huge and centred down the centre of the page, I have tried everything to get it to print normal in the setting section of thunderbird but it refuses to change back to normal size If i print something in outlook the font is normal.any idea how can i fix this ?

I would start by looking at the page size, the usual issue is a long narow page has been defined.
