A previous person asked the same question. My windows default print orientation is portrait. My Thunderbird default print orientation has just recently changed to landscape. How do I reset the Thunderbird default to portrait?

You could also check the current settings.

'Menu icon' > 'Options' > 'Options' > 'Advanced' > 'General' tab click on 'Config editor' button

in top search type; orientation

I have two printers and both use 'Portrait' orientation, so the Value is 0 (zero) for all four entries. as an example you will see:

  • print.printer_EPSON_SX510W_Series.print_orientation; 0
  • print.printer_EPSON_Stylus_CX6400.print_orientation; 0
  • printer_EPSON_SX510W_Series.print_orientation; 0
  • printer_EPSON_Stylus_CX6400.print_orientation; 0

Right click on those lines and select 'Modify'. Enter a value of 0 click on OK close window - top right X

click on OK
