In most cases, when you Save the shot, you are asked where to save it. I suggest saving to your desktop. Then when you are ready to send it, it's right in front of you.

If you plan to save that shot, you can move it to where you want.

on windows PrtSc sends the image to the clipboard and you have to paste it into paint or another editor

if you use How do I create a screenshot of my problem? it would be where the program saves it

if you use Tools > Developer > toolbar (or shift+f2) it will be in the Download folder as set in Preferences > General
