Since this last update to 66.0.1 the first tab I open does not load. Every new tab I load thereafter loads perfectly. I do not use any social media at all or any other apps at he same time so it's not interference from another app.

Why does this happen and what's the work around??

The first page you tried to open, did it open when you reloaded it? Is it just one page, or any page?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

The first window opens but if I try to open a link in a new tab on that page the tab is blank. I have open a new tab and then cut and paste the link I'm trying to open for it to open and then close the preceding tab. Reloading the page without opening a new tab doesn't do anything

If I change websites to a different site, the first link I try to open on that site doesn't open and I have to go through the same procedure as above to get that link to open.

If I stay on the website, each link I try to open in a new tab thereafter works.

And Safe Mode?
