I have tried multiple ways or registering my email with thunderbird. None have worked. First I tried the way they suggest on the website but thunderbird keeps showing an error saying unable to probe/find server. Then I manually enter details for incoming and outgoing ports and the server gets detected. After that I have trouble logging in as it doesn't accept my password. I can login to my email on the browser with the password but thunderbird says the server says the email or password is wrong. I know I'm entering both of them correctly. What do I do?

It is hard to advise when I do not know what server you are using nor settings you have tried. I also do not know what version of Thunderbird you are using.

But if you are using version 78*, Thunderbird has set a minimum TLS to TLSv1.2. So, it is possible the server you are trying to connect to is not using an up to date TLS version in which case try the info at this link to reset the minimum level. Then restart Thunderbird. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thunderbird-78-faq#w_after-upgrading-to-thunderbird-78-i-cannot-get-or-send-email-messages
