Not really sure why Firefox is crashing every 5 minutes, crash reports listed.
I've tried sfc /scannow and it didn't find anything. I've tried using DDU and reinstalling my drivers. My specs is pretty much 5700xt + 3700x.

About Throttling
You're seeing this page because the crash report you selected was held back from submission. For statistical purposes, we don't need every crash report and sometimes we decline the submission of a crash report as a form of throttling. If you'd like to see your crash report, type about:crashes into your location bar and your report will be automatically submitted to our server where we'll give it priority processing.
Thank you for reporting your crashes.
Hi,
Ah right, that does make sense. Still not sure what xul.dll is and why my firefox is crashing so much.

Make sure all software is up to date.
Basically, an OOM (Out Of Memory) means the system is having issues with the RAM.

MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020
Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.
How to determine the appropriate page file size for 64-bit versions of Windows {web link}
Thanks, i did try a memtest at the start of this build and it passed it with 0 errors. I'll try again overnight and see what pops up.
EDIT: Just want to say i let Windows handle the page file stuff.
Hi,
Ran a memtest overnight for 12 hours and it came with 0 errors. 5 passes done. I had to use an older version because the auto usb installer wasn't detecting my USB to install to - ended up using v 4.3.7 - a 2014 version and using rufus to install to which worked.
I'm a little confused - there's no apparent memory issues so far. I'm not using an outrageous amount of tabs (it crashed on 5 tabs). I haven't fiddled with any Windows page file or swap files as i've let windows handle that stuff natively. Everything is up to date in regards to Windows and drivers.
Not an outrageous amount of extensions ( Privacy Badger,Ublock,LastPass,RES,Treestyle Tab etc).
Did you check out the links that I posted?
Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

This is firefox in safe mode however, my PC is not in safe mode with network support (i thought i'd test it first).
I'm beginning to suspect something is at least faulty with my RAM and it's a subtle fault. Honestly seems like i've run out of memory even if I'm at 40% load for my RAM.

Use the memory check I posted above.
Okay, i got it working on a USB - the latest version and ran a 2nd memtest. Ran 8 passes , leaving it on for 17 hours 0 errors.
Ended up updating my BIOS too though really i have no idea on what's causing it. I'm getting random driver timeouts from my GPU, but it's not hard crashing, just popping up with an error message asking me if i want to report it to AMD.
Might have to replace either the GPU or the memory at this point.
Well, thank you for your help.
Do a clean reinstall of the current Firefox release and delete the Firefox program folder before installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- download the Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
*https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows Registry and settings in security software.
- do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall the current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including personal data in profiles created by other Firefox versions
Remove the Firefox program folder before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (64-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (32-bit Firefox) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- it is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling
Your personal data like bookmarks is stored in the Firefox profile folder, so you won't lose personal data when you reinstall or update Firefox, but make sure NOT to remove personal data when you uninstall Firefox as that will remove all Firefox profile folders and you lose your personal data.
If you keep having problems then you can create a new profile as a quick test to see if your current profile is causing the problem.
