Opening a new tab shows the default page, which includes web search of default search engine. (In my case Google).

This is the same as it was. HOWEVER, I can't type within the Google Box on the page. Typing there instantly reverts to typing in the address bar.

While the result is the same, a search directed to Google. The implementation is exceedingly annoying!!! Don't have an input box which can't have anything inputted to it!

I wouldn't be surprised if this is a simple HTML oversight, but please fix ASAP. Thank you.

Same issue as above. I have the Web Search option selected for my Firefox home screen and the input box on the homepage instantly takes my input to the address bar.

Further to that, I have options turned off for displaying search results and suggestions in the address bar (I don't like them there) and that is not being honoured. I still receive suggestions from the address bar.
