Your own browsing data from private windows should be removed when you close the last private window. However, Firefox does gather some materials on its own for the new tab page and other purposes. To see exactly what files are the disk cache, you can type or paste about:cache in the address bar and press Enter to load that page. Then follow the link to the disk cache to see what is there.
