I have several computers that have Mozilla Firefox & Thunderbird on them. For the past several day one of them that I am using Thunderbird on keeps giving me the following message when ever I try to open something listed on an e-mail or try to get HELP. "This file does not have an app associated with it for performing this action. Please install an app or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Apps Settings page". WHAT CAN I DO TO CORRECT THIS PROBLEM???? Please let me know as soon as you can. It is a royal pain in the but! Thank you mcchronister@centurylink.net

As I understand it, when you have a link in a message and attempt to open a web page, it gives this error message. Have you pursued this in Default Apps as suggested? Windows is good, but it also sometimes forgets what we hoped it would never forget. At the surface, this sounds like TB giving a request to Windows and finding nothing there. Check Default Apps first to ensure that the proper links are in place.
