Thunderbird: Emails threaded incorrectly
Emails with different subjects are getting threaded together. For example, in the attached snapshot, why are the emails with subject "Bid S011090833" getting threaded under "Hein Revised Hall Bath..."?
Perhaps I don't understand how Thunderbird determines messages have a common thread.
Using Thunderbird 115.4.1 (64-bit)

Should this be threaded under a top level email with subject "Bid S011090833" or should it be it's own top level thread ?
This can occur if you had replied to an email with a different subject and then you changed the Subject or if the person sending to you had changed the subject in their reply.
Have you tried this:
- change folder to 'unthreaded' so all is a list.
- Then right click on folder and select 'Properties'
- click on 'Repair Folder'
- click on 'OK'
- Then reselect 'Threaded'
