Updating folders / Indexing messages / WP.PL
hello i have had a problem with thunderbird for a few weeks now.
indexing/updating messages takes a VERY long time.
i use email on WP.PL
i have limited synchronization to 1 year back. despite this, the program freezes a lot when updating emails.
it is impossible to use it during this time. after clicking you have to wait a dozen or so seconds for a reaction.
i have a 1 gigabit connection. despite this, downloading each message takes a few dozen seconds.
i tried reinstalling the program, it did not work.
where to look for the problem?

Start Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode and see whether the problem happens there as well. The following article explains how to do that and why it can be useful to help identify the cause of a problem:

What's your Operating System? If Windows, start Windows in Safe Mode with Networking mode:

What about starting the OS in Safe Mode? You did neither mention that nor say which OS you're using…
