hanging and freezing
Hi. I hope you can help me. I have already asked my husband for help and he has tried and failed. (And he's an IBM engineer).
I have been using Thunderbird for decades.
I have installed Thunderbird (V128.6.lesr) on my new Lenovo Yoga 9, Windows 11. It constantly hangs and is slow to load. It doesn't recognize my addresses when I use compose, even though my address books are installed. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, tried troubleshooting/safe mode multiple times. I have compacted. Emptied junk. Everything. I have copied my old settings into the new installation. Nothing works.
I think I need someone to just look at my Thunderbird set up. Someone a lot younger than I am who knows what he or she is doing.
Please help.

Can you post a screenshot of the problem when attempting to use an email address? That may help.
