in the past you could close firefox, but it remembered the pages or tabs you had opened and opened them again when you started back up. Is this still possible now?
In the past you had several ways to close Firefox. Just close with loss of the page, or close but remembering the pages where you were on, so they opened again as you started up Firefox later. Is this still possible?

Yes that is still possible. Firefox does not now ask you if you want to save this as you closedown it does it anyway.
If you start with the default homepage you get a big button in the middle asking you if you wish to restore tabs, otherwise
- use Firefox Button -> History -> Restore previous session
- alternatively set firefox to start from the restored tabs instead of from home pages
- go to about:home by keying that into the location bar. If you wish bookmark it or set it as one of the home pages.
- use Firefox Button -> Options -> | General |-> startup
- see
[window - General panel#w_startup]_startup - see Startup, home page, tabs, and download settings_startup
- go to about:home by keying that into the location bar. If you wish bookmark it or set it as one of the home pages.
- see also How to set the home page

Ok, thank you very much. Let's see if it works when I get back home later on... ;-)
