Firefox crashes
Unable to open firefox at all. I have rebooted and tried opening in safe mode, to no avail. Recently, when i open new tabs from speedial, they either crash or it slows down my laptop quite significantly.

If you could open Firefox I would suggest you try disabling flash player as that may be involved in the crashes you have crash IDs for. Presumably you have read firefox crashes. As firefox will not run in safe mode the only alternative (unless it is a profile problem) is to
- try a clean install, involving deletion of the Firefox program files
but NOT the firefox profile- follow instructions from http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_%28Firefox%29#Clean_reinstall
You mention rebooting, may I ask (do NOT try) have you tried any Windows System Restores? before or after these problems occurred.
I ask because Firefox is often damaged by Windows System restores. (Bug702045)

No I hadn't done a windows restore in a couple of months at least.
Anyhow, I hadn't done anything else since my first post, and then Firefox just suddenly opened up. So I went to my add-on's and updated all of them, the major two were java and flash. Whether or not this helped I don't know, it seems fine for the moment.
Over and out!

Glad it works again, thanks for posting back.
Updating plugins is always advised. It is one of the tips in the firefox crashes article. It is also worth killing firefox.exe & plugincontainer.exe as advised in firefox hangs & firefox is already running but is not responding but that is not usually necessary if you have been resorting to rebooting the computer.
