Java not loading up in firefox 15.0.1 but says is installed
I had to re-install Firefox 15.01 because I some issues with new fire Fox 16.01. When I re-installed Firefox and kept my currents profile, I had to re-install Java. I installed both the 32 bits and 64 versions, Java show it is installed but none of the test are working.
Somebody else from here a few months ago had me go into the Firefox config for the plugin and had me turn something on.. I wish I made notes or took screen shot at least of what I had to do, But I forget what I had to do to get Java to work again with Firefox. I do not remember what it was but currently Java is not loading up, Even though I have UN-installed -reinstalled twice now and with no success.
Could somebody please help me please. I have browse forms and searched goggle but so far I have not found a solution to this problem.. I think it was known bug/issue with firefox 15.x
http://www.cis.upenn.edu/~matuszek/General/JavaVersionTests/JavaTests.html none these are working. Even basic Java test from there home page is not working..

hello, here is your question from two months ago: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/934384
have you enabled the click to play feature back then? if so you'd have to activate the plugin on sites with java content.
It is still not loading. If I set put " plugins.click_to_play " to enable. It will pop up and ask to re-download and install missing plugin. I have tried to re-install and download and still will not work. Yet the Java console is loading up in the task tray..
I went back and read my old post and thank you very much for finding my old post.. but java just does not seem to showing up, Even though it says it's installed..
http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre is just sitting there while checking but only pops up again to re-installed missing plugin..
btw it was showing some classtest error again. but Now I can't even get to show that now...
It may be best to leave click-to-play disabled (plugins.click_to_play is false) as it may not work properly with all plugins in current Firefox releases.
do you have any addons that might block java (like noscript) - you could try launching firefox in safemode once and see if the java plugin is working there...
Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
No only other I have is Adblock plus and I have tried it with off and on.. I set back to "plugins.click_to_play is false" and now I'm still getting the error ' classnotfoundexception' window with error of " Java12Tes.class" "
it seems to be same error I had several months ago when I was using FF 14.xx...
I have looked at the other old post and I still can not get Java to work.. Yet Java console is loading up.
updated: Java not loading up in Safe mode either... I just tested, Closed all browser down and tried loading FF in Safe Mode, holding Shift key.. Still no luck..
for some reason it would not let me upload a 2nd pictures..
hello your screenshot appears to show that the java plugin is enabled and running in firefox - but for what ever reason is throwing an internal error message on that page. does it happen everywhere, for example here too?: http://browserspy.dk/java.php
this article offers some more troubleshooting steps (in essence look out for firewalls or proxy settings): http://kb.mozillazine.org/Java#If_Java_is_installed_and_enabled_but_does_not_work
i suspect, you've already tried fully removing java from the windows control panel & installing it again (firefox is a 32bit application and therefore only works with the 32 bit version of the plugin)...
Here is the screenshot here.. I will check the other info in a moment, Just I'm busy at the moment. And yes
I have tried unstalling/Re-installing both Java 32 (for Firefox) and for IE 64 bit. I only use IE when something fails to load in FF.
hmm I wonder if I can get Java work in IE.. sec i'm go test it
And that would be a NO.. its not working in IE either :(
Update 1 hour later: OMG i don't know what I did. but after I loaded IE and closed it. Java said was not working in IE. but now it's now loading up in FF now as I was browsing that other page you linked I clicked on internet speed test and now its loading up.. LOL
