I was having problems with my Lord of Ultima online live game so I thought to uninstall and reinstall my greasemonkey addons. However when I tried to reinstall greasemonkey says it installled but it didnt. I checked my addons and there were no addons listed. Two things that may have caused a problem yet I am not techinical enough to know what happened. First I used advanced uninstaller pro to possibly get rid of remnents thinking that is why it wont reinstall. Then I also followed instructions from a website that told me to go into about.config and change settings there. However the settings were not there and by looking for them and trying to figure things out I may have screwed up, I didn't change anything but it almost looked like I accidently erased the whole configuration as it dissappeared.

Please help as I am an officer in the online game and need to be back in there using my LOU scripts which need the greasemonkey.

I have a new dell computer with a fast processor and windows 8, not sure if that helps to know that. If you can give me instructions I would be forever grateful, although please explain things in simple english since I really don't know computers all that well, so if you say go to this such-and-such place on your computer, I won't know where you are talking about and probably won't be able to find it unless you can give me a complete step by step instructions.

Sure could use your immediate help since the game I was playing for 3 months has come to a very critical point and if I can't use the grease monkey it could be devistating for my whole alliance that I am playing with since they count on me to able to do things in the game.

please and thanks, Temie slyon@q.com

Forgot to mention that I also did an uninstall of firefox saving my favorites and stuff, then did a reinstall which didn't help me install greasemonkey.

And I did notice that there were 2 files in my computer for greasemonkey in my old firefox data gm_scripts.
