The last few days Firefox won't open either from icon or when using the 'Run' command (this used to work when icon didn't). When I watch the processes in Task Manager I can see that it tries to start but then disappears from the list of active processes within seconds.  :-( Forced me back to Internet Explorer, which I HATE!

hello IbuLulu, since this can sometimes be caused by malware active on a system, please run a scan with different security tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner & microsoft safety scanner.
