Since my last update of Firefox (37.0.2), I have been unable to connect to something nearing half the sites that I visit regularly, including many of my own sites. Interestingly, support.mozilla.org is among the ones that I cannot access, and have had to use Safari in order to access your site.
Rather than displaying the site, I get a rotating gear icon. When I click the icon to the left of the address bar, I get the message:
This website does not supply identity information. Your connection to this website is not encrypted.
Additionally, most of the sites that I can connect to are showing broken graphics, whereas they do not do this using any other browser.
Usually, I use two browsers, one for each screen. Safari is one, and Firefox is the other. However, since the last update, Firefox has closed most of the Internet off to to me and I cannot find anything in Preferences that would fix it.
I can't use your "Troubleshooting Information" feature because I cannot connect to your site via Firefox.

Firefox does connect to the web, but not many known web sites.

This Connection is Untrusted is sometimes caused because the computer system clock is wrong. Check the time / date / time zone settings.
Try to disable IPv6 (check for other possible causes as well).
That gives me a warning about voiding my warranty. Since this problem exists only with Firefox, and there are several other browsers available, I prefer to simply dump Firefox. Again, I didn't have this problem until upgrading Firefox, so there is a problem with the upgrade.
That "warning" needs to be accepted to get to the advanced configuration options [aka preferences] - about:config .
Another thing you can do is to open Troubleshooting Information in Firefox and then use the Copy text to clipboard button and then use Safari to paste that information into the Reply box in this thread.
Firefox is free software and doesn't come with a warranty (you can see this part of the text as humor from the Firefox devs). You can merely see this as a warning to be cautious with making changes to to preferences.
You can check the date and time and time zone in the clock on your computer.
We have seen reports that the time as set via an internet based time service was so much out of sync that an error occurs, so if that is the case with you this service or try to switch to another time service.
